Produced by Meghmala Balbhim Pathare and directed by National Award winner Gajendra Ahire, the movie highlights the life of those brave freedom fighters, and also showcases a love story set in the pre-independence era. There were many who sacrificed their families, their love and their dreams so they could get a chance to breathe in an independent country. Though these unsung heroes were not mentioned in history, they definitely live in the hearts of the countrymen. But not everyone’s name could be etched in the history of our freedom struggle. Thousands of patriots gave their lives for a free nation. And that would be my country, my India” – says the protagonist, Nilkanth Master, in a recently released Marathi movie.
